Dear Wissota Marina,

I would like to take the time to thank Guy and John for the long hours and hard work they put into my new boat purchase. I found them easy to get along with and very accomodating.

The boats first trip was to Canada and I hear a lot of comments on how the boat looked and performed. People were most impressed with the oversized trailer.

There was another new boat owner there that I had an interesting conversation with. During the first Canadian fishing trip he encountered numerous problems. The trolling motor kept blowing fuses, the bilge pump stopped working, and his power trim locked up. I came across him as he porpused his way back to the cabin. He asked me if I was having any troubles with my new boat. I replied no. He bought his boat at Link's and it obviously was not water ready. I explained to him the benefits of buying at a marina, he readily saw the light.

When it comes time to trade my boats perhaps Ill buy a cresliner or something else. I am sure that Wissota Marina will be my first stop and if you guys are still working you will make another sale.

On the morning of Saturday, May 10th, I had some problems while jet skiing with a friend on Lake Wissota – I needed new spark plugs. Because I used to live in Eau Claire, I had heard the Wissota Marina jingle on the radio before, so I decided to give your place of business a try. Unfortunately, you did not stock the spark plug I needed. However, a gentleman (whose name I do not recall) went above and beyond the call of duty and guest service to help me out. He called two other places of business trying to find the spark plugs I needed! He found them at Champion Auto and gave me directions on how to get there.

I was absolutely impressed with that level of service. If I am ever in need of any type of marine service in the future, you can count on my return to Wissota Marina!

We recently purchased a Polar Kraft boat from your business. Our salesman was Jim Hartman.

We had been planning to purchase a boat for some time and had checked several different dealers. While the offers were in our price range, there was always something lacking.

We came across Wissota Marina by checking the yellow pages for local boat dealers and we are so happy that we did. We found your number, called to get hours and immediately drove to your business. Jim was our salesman and because of him, we purchased a 15’ Polar Kraft boat, trailer, etc. There was no pressure to purchase, he gave us the opportunity to look around, he did not follow us, he answered any questions we had, which were plenty, and gave us concise answers and information regarding the many different types of boats your business has. He even showed us an older though still new boat, with no pressure to sell us the most expensive.

Because of his knowledge, but most of all because of the way he dealt with us, we are so happy that we visited your business and now have a new boat as a result.

Mr. Hartman should be commended as an employee and salesman; compared to some of the other dealers we dealt with, who gave the impression that we were intruding, or called to up the price previously quoted, or, at one dealership, the salesman could not even find the boat he had on inventory, we are so pleased that we contacted Wissota Marina and have been telling everyone of the good products but most of all, the good service.
